Technical means of transportation like escalators and elevators, which wait for a human being to provide acess at any time, are inconceivable for our modern locomotion. Meanwhile the conveyance to which these technical auxiliaries help us (train, car, airplane) have arrived in the social reality and are therefore essential in the day-to-day life. Even so, life's "little helpers" like the automatically initiating escalators, the elevator that adjusts to the arriving train and also the airport assembly belts are taken to be more or less self-evident.
